Ashley Avis, the stunning, willowy former model and Los Angeles-based actor/writer ... and now fledgling producer... is rumored to star in a snowboarding based feature "Heavenly", to hit theaters in 2013.

The twenty-four-year-old has had literal mouth-dropping flurry of entertainment successes - from the runway of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, starring in Variety's Top 10 Director's to Watch Nelson George's "Left Unsaid", and being one of the youngest editors of a major national publication to date.

She's recently been seen on the red carpets of film premiers such as Deep Gold 3D, and society functions including The American Red Cross "Red Tie Affair", the star-studded Golden Heart Awards at the Beverly Hilton, and for OK! Magazine's "50 Sexiest Hollywood Singles".

A Brief Lowdown on Ashley:

After a childhood of competing in the Equestrian world and reading sci-fi novels (including Anne McCaffery), Ashley was promptly placed on a plane at sixteen to sign with Warner Brothers Music (for what would turn out to be "the shortest and most pointless pop artist contract, ever", she laughs), and to walk for various fashion designers ("... I was tall") for Mercedes New York Fashion Week.

She graduated (with a across the board 4.0) from high school as quickly as feasibly possible while flying back and forth to New York, soon doing the same with her higher education at the prestigious Manhattan College of Riverdale, a college that has seen the likes of New York Governor Rudy Giuliani through its halls. She graduated in a record two and a half years (... with honors) and a double major in International Business and Marketing. She turned down admissions from noted schools including NYU and Columbia, "to graduate fast and be done with it".

Through college Ashley worked on films such as Paramount's "We Own the Night", and Manhattan-locally on the set of soaps Guiding Light and All My Children.

At nineteen, she was hired as a writer and personality for Nielsen Media's "Backstage", penning an entertainment section as well as a daily-life-of column, and within less than a year was also hired on as Regional Editor for the media mogul. An absolute record for (then) a mere twenty-year-old.

She continued working on soaps, modeling for clients including DL1961 jeans, Walford Lingeire, Calvin Klein, and Diesel -- ballroom dancing for galas at The Waldorf and the United Nations (have you caught your breath yet?) -- and squeezed in some time to try her hand at real estate for Corcoran / Citi-Habitats. In 2007, she won Rookie of the Year.

Ashley has recently relocated to Los Angeles, working with celebrity-house Anonymous Content as an actor, BWR PR (the same PR agency who reps actors like Megan Fox, Blake Lively, and Adam Sandler), and writing editorials for Bunker Hill Magazine and other publications.

This year - Ashley wrote, produced an independent comedy pilot - The Cynical Life of Harper Hall (www.thecynicallife) or (www.facebook.com/thecynicallife) which is absolutely blowing up in the press in Los Angeles. Watch for her as Harper Hall and FAN The Cynical Life on Facebook!
